Cleveland rolled out the red carpet for the cast of Hot in Cleveland - literally.
We screened the premier of Where's Elka? at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and hundreds of fans were there to greet us on the red carpet. Rock Hall staff members said the crowd that cheered us on was comparable to the turn-out they've had for rock bands! How cool is that?

Hundreds of fans of the TVLand hit comedy, Hot in Cleveland, turned out to honor stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White on Thursday at Tower City Center in Cleveland.
As members of the famed Cleveland Orchestra performed the theme music from the comedy, the stars stepped on stage to a thunderous ovation. The cast was honored for presenting the city in a positive, upbeat manner. Neal Mohney, executive coordinator of the Forest City Enterprises, served as master of ceremonies for the event. Bertinelli, Leeves, Malick and White were named honorary "Global Clevelanders" by Global Cleveland - an economic development initiative to bring talent and enterprise into the region.

Coming to Cleveland has been a homecoming for the cast of Hot in Cleveland. Though many were initially skeptical and thought our show would be cartooning on Cleveland, our namesake city quickly realized that this show was a love letter to Midwestern values and really more of dig against Los Angeles.
So we have been thrilled by the warm embrace of the city since we arrived this week to premiere the new season of Hot in Cleveland. We had a wonderful premiere party and screening at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Wednesday evening. After the glitz and glamour of a red-carpet walk and screening, I donned my favorite jeans and went with Tom, TV Land president Larry Jones and the TV Land staff in search of a fun place to watch the show on TV.
