From Mary Tyler Moore to Don Rickles and Sean Hayes to Susan Lucci, we have had some amazing guest stars on Hot in Cleveland, but my favorite special guest is someone I see every day: My husband Tom Vitale!
You can catch a glimpse of my handsome man in the "How Did You Guys Meet, Anyway?" episode, originally broadcast on Wednesday, January 4 - but you have to look close!

Though everyone in the TV Land family is thrilled for Betty White to have been nominated as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards, Hot in Cleveland also received a well-deserved technical nod.
Congratulations to Production Designer Michael Andrew Hynes and Set Decorator Maralee Zediker for their nomination for Outstanding Art Direction for a Multi-Camera Series. I hope you enjoyed "Bad Bromance" on Hot in Cleveland - I know I did, because I was able to work once again with the wonderful Bonnie Franklin.
On the set, I felt like I was 15 again, just wanting her approval. She's like a second mother to me. She's the sweetest, kindest, strongest woman - and I was very nervous performing with her again.
I wanted her to have an amazing time with Hot in Cleveland, and the script was challenging for us both: Here I am playing the woman who is dating her youngest son... oh, and also slept with her oldest son. (Gulp) For two people who love each other so much, it was interesting for us to play adversaries, but at the end of the day, it was a lot of fun to be with here.
We had a lot of deja vu on the set that week, and at one point, she just whispered in my ear and gave me the most amazing compliment. It was just for me from her - and it made me want to cry. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her again, 30 years after One Day at a Time.
