Editor's Note: This is a reprint of a story that aired two years ago when Bonnie Franklin appeared as a guest star on Hot in Cleveland.
I hope you enjoyed "Bad Bromance" on Hot in Cleveland - I know I did, because I was able to work once again with the wonderful Bonnie Franklin.
On the set, I felt like I was 15 again, just wanting her approval. She's like a second mother to me. She's the sweetest, kindest, strongest woman - and I was very nervous performing with her again.
I wanted her to have an amazing time with Hot in Cleveland, and the script was challenging for us both: Here I am playing the woman who is dating her youngest son... oh, and also slept with her oldest son. (Gulp) For two people who love each other so much, it was interesting for us to play adversaries, but at the end of the day, it was a lot of fun to be with here.
We had a lot of deja vu on the set that week, and at one point, she just whispered in my ear and gave me the most amazing compliment. It was just for me from her - and it made me want to cry. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her again, 30 years after One Day at a Time.

You and I have not seen each since you and Eddie came up to our house in Bel Air to watch a Super Bowl sometime back in the mid-80s, but I wanted to check in and tell you that we're all thinking of Bonnie and the cast and crew of ODAAT. I spoke to dad this morning and he's feeling the loss as well. Stay Strong and cherish all the great memories from that special time in your life. All the best. Pat Harrington III
Her tough attitude and her Russian accent made her character so rough..that..well.
All I can say is..this is not"Ann Romano".
Bad Bromance was excellent. It was funny and the reunion between you and Bonnie was long over due. You guys shined on screen together. Great job.
