Editor's Note: This is a reprint of a story that aired two years ago when Bonnie Franklin appeared as a guest star on Hot in Cleveland.

I hope you enjoyed "Bad Bromance" on Hot in Cleveland - I know I did, because I was able to work once again with the wonderful Bonnie Franklin

On the set, I felt like I was 15 again, just wanting her approval. She's like a second mother to me. She's the sweetest, kindest, strongest woman - and I was very nervous performing with her again.

I wanted her to have an amazing time with Hot in Cleveland, and the script was challenging for us both: Here I am playing the woman who is dating her youngest son... oh, and also slept with her oldest son. (Gulp) For two people who love each other so much, it was interesting for us to play adversaries, but at the end of the day, it was a lot of fun to be with here.

We had a lot of deja vu on the set that week, and at one point, she just whispered in my ear and gave me the most amazing compliment. It was just for me from her - and it made me want to cry. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her again, 30 years after One Day at a Time.

Hey Valerie:

You and I have not seen each since you and Eddie came up to our house in Bel Air to watch a Super Bowl sometime back in the mid-80s, but I wanted to check in and tell you that we're all thinking of Bonnie and the cast and crew of ODAAT. I spoke to dad this morning and he's feeling the loss as well. Stay Strong and cherish all the great memories from that special time in your life. All the best. Pat Harrington III

I've been a fan of yours since the very first "One Day At A Time" aired. It was so great to see you and Bonnie Franklin together again. You both look AWESOME!! I absolutely love "Hot in Cleveland", the best show I've seen since Seinfeld!

I enjoyed the character of The Mother from hell! that Ms.Franklin played on your show..Ms.Bertinelli.

Her tough attitude and her Russian accent made her character so rough..that..well.

All I can say is..this is not"Ann Romano".

Valerie, I was so pleased to see you and Bonnie Franklin working together again. I grew up with you and loved One Day at a Time. I admire you greatly, and would love to meet you someday. In the meantime, I would welcome the opportunity to correspond. Could you write back with the best way to do that? Lee Hassinger, PA

Valerie, you inspired me to join Jenny Craig January 8, 2011, lost 7 inches 1st week & rehydrated myself as I had always lived on coffee & soda, I did a 360 that 1st week & cut my coffee and dropped to 2 sodas a day and in place added water. The 2nd week I lost 3.2 lbs and I have more energy than ever. You were my inspiration, I grew up watching you & will always watch anything you are in.
